# Home

> Browse services and start a new booking.

**Home** is where a booking starts — pick services, then check out.

<Note>
  Home only shows services for whichever shop is set as the **Default Shop** in [Settings](/settings/settings). Set that first if the list looks empty.

  <Step title="Browse and pick services">
    Use **All Categories** or a specific category to filter the list, or search by name. Click a service card to add it to your order — it highlights, and a category shows how many of its services you've added. Click the **x** on a card to remove it again.

    Click **Reset** to clear everything and start over.

  <Step title="Review your order and check out">
    The **Order Summary** panel on the right lists everything you've added, with a quantity stepper for each and the Total Payable at the bottom.

    Click **Proceed to Checkout** to continue.

  <Step title="Fill in the checkout details and confirm">
    This is the same booking form as [Appointment](/business-module/appointment) — Appointment Date, Customer (existing or **New Customer**), Select Slot, Preferred Person/Staff, and an optional Promotional Offer.

    The **Order Summary** panel keeps showing your bill on the right. Click **Confirm Booking** to create the appointment.
