Inventory Management is where you record how much stock of each product you have at each shop, and keep an eye on how quickly it’s being used up. It works hand-in-hand with the Product Catalog — every product you add there can be stocked here.
You need an active Krisper account, with products already added in Operations → Product Catalog and at least one active shop, before you can add inventory. If you don’t see Operations → Inventory Management in your sidebar, contact your account administrator.
The page has two tabs, matching what you’ll see in Krisper:
This is the default tab. It shows every product’s stock at every shop, and is where you add new stock or top up existing stock.

Step 1 — Open Inventory Management

1

Open Operations → Inventory Management

In the left-hand sidebar, click Operations, then select Inventory Management. This opens the Inventory List tab by default, showing every stock record added so far.Use the Product and Shop filters at the top, with Reset / Apply, to narrow the list down to a specific product or shop.

Step 2 — Add inventory

1

Click + Add Inventory

In the top-right corner, click + Add Inventory. A form opens on the right.
2

Fill in the stock details and save

Enter the details below and save the form.
If you close the Add Inventory form without saving, whatever you’d typed is kept — reopening + Add Inventory restores it, so you don’t lose your progress by mistake. Use Clear Form if you want to start over instead.

Step 3 — Record it as an expense (optional)

1

Choose whether to log a business expense

After saving, Krisper asks “Do you want to add an expense entry along with creating this inventory?”
  • Click Yes to open a pre-filled expense form (shop, and amount worked out as quantity × price) — save it to log the purchase as a business expense.
  • Click No to just save the stock without creating an expense.

Understanding the Inventory List

Each row in the list shows how much of a product exists at a shop, and how much of it is left:

Viewing details and adjusting stock

Click the eye icon on any row to open Inventory Details — basic product info, current stock numbers, and a full history of every stock addition and use for that record.
  • Click Adjust Stock to top up the quantity for that same product and shop. The shop and product are locked; you just enter how much more you’re adding, and Krisper shows you the running total (current + new = total).
  • Each stock addition in the history can have its own expense logged individually, using the expense icon next to that entry — useful when you top up stock on different days at different costs.
Once stock has been used (for example, consumed in an appointment), that usage cannot be undone from this page — the Used Quantity is updated automatically wherever the product is consumed.

Common Scenarios

  • Restocking a shop — a salon adds 200 pieces of a hair color product to a shop’s inventory, and logs the purchase as a business expense in the same step.
  • Seeing what an appointment used — a customer’s hair color appointment consumes stock automatically; Usage Analytics shows exactly which appointment it was, and what that appointment was billed for.
  • Comparing shops — filtering Usage Analytics by shop and by Last 3 Months to see which shop is going through a product fastest, so more stock can be sent there first.
  • Topping up existing stock — instead of creating a new record, opening an existing product’s details and clicking Adjust Stock to add more of the same product at the same shop, keeping one running total instead of duplicate entries.

Product Catalog

Add the products your business uses or sells, and organize them into categories — required before adding inventory for a product.
